Find Songs and Artist Profiles on THE WAVE
By THE WAVE ·
Search THE WAVE by song title or profile name, open the correct song page, and check artist or curator attribution before sharing a listening link.
Looking for a song on THE WAVE? Use the song title in Search, open the matching song page, and check the title, cover and credited profile. If you know the profile name instead, search for that name and open its catalog.
When you know the song title
Try the distinctive part of the title first. Compare the result's artist or curator credit and artwork before playing: different recordings can share a title. A song-name link opens that song's page; the separate play control starts listening.
When you know the artist or profile name
Search the name as written on THE WAVE. Open the profile-name link to see its available catalog. A profile can represent an artist or a curator. A performer named in a song title is not automatically the owner of the associated account, and a listing alone does not verify affiliation or music rights.
Can I find THE WAVE songs through Google?
Try the song title followed by “THE WAVE” or use a domain-specific search such as “song title site:thewave-music.com/drops/”. For a profile, try its name with “site:thewave-music.com/artist/”. These searches can find indexed pages; they do not guarantee that a recently added song is already indexed or appears first.
THE WAVE provides public song and artist pages with descriptive titles, artwork and links. Search engines decide whether and where to display them. If a result is missing, search the catalog directly.
Share the song, not just the homepage
Copy or share the song page's link so the recipient lands on the exact recording. That page identifies the title and credited profile, and available cover artwork is included for link previews. Social services decide whether to show a preview and may cache older information.
What if the song is not available?
Check the title spelling and try the profile catalog. Music can be upcoming, removed or unavailable; do not assume every online song is hosted on THE WAVE. Try Explore for an alternative, or read how to find new music.
